- Get early to bed – This will help you shift your sleeping cycle forward.
- Transition – If you wake up at 9 a.m. you can’t all of a sudden start waking up at 5 a.m. Push back the time by small amounts and then slowly bring it down to the needed time.
- Reward yourself – Reward yourself with something nice every time you succeed waking according to the plan.
- Write and put up your goal - Visually seeing your goal for waking up early can work positively!
- Make yourself accountable – Tell everyone at home about your plans. That will help create accountability to wake up early.
- Set the alarm clock a little away from the bed – Waking up and stopping it will help you get out of bed and shake off the sleep.
- Set alarm clock five minutes early – Snooze the alarm and once it rings after a while wake up. Till then prepare mentally to be up.
- Co planning - Plan a waking time along with some other member. Co motivating each other can also aid.
- Set a nice sounding alarm not a harsh one!
Make waking up early a regular habit and slowly it will not be a reason for trepidation!! All the best to me :)
